Move Forward A Bit

This is a silent film, depicting a dialogue between two characters. As the dialogue loses its sound, the words are abstracted into pure imagery. Text loses its emotion, and conversation morphs into a kind of meaningless confrontation. Behind this absurd dialogue lies a deeper layer of violence. Dialogues dominated by rationalism and logical supremacy—questions and answers to some extent become an endlessly recurring loop with no resolution in sight. The conversation leads back to its initial point, unfolding, developing, discussing, questioning, answering, ultimately resulting in simple compromise and resignation—"Let's return to where we start.” This isn't victory; it's the greatest failure.

In this work, I attempt to discuss the limitations of language, the misunderstandings, the truths that can never be described or touched by words, and the underlying violence hidden beneath tenderness in intimate relationships.
